Who we are

This website is run by Greenlight Automotive LLC, trading as GreenLight Auto Sales, 3040 State Highway 19, Huntsville, TX 77320. Email greenlightautosales01@gmail.com or call (832) 212-7537 with any question about your information.

What we collect

  • When you browse: you do not need an account, and there are no forms on this website. We do not use advertising pixels. We use Google Analytics to count visits (see below).
  • When you contact us by phone, text, email or Facebook: your name, number or address and what you tell us, used only to answer you about a vehicle or our services.
  • When you buy a vehicle: the details Texas law and the sale require (for example identification, title and registration details). We collect these in person at the dealership, not through this website.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider records technical data for each visit (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to keep the website secure and running. These logs are not used to identify you.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which vehicles they look at and how often they tap Call, Text or Directions. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives your IP address and browser details under Google's privacy policy. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, and we do not use the data for advertising. You can block it with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Google Maps and Google reviews

The map on our pages loads only when you press “Show the map”. Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy. Reviews shown on this website are fetched from Google by our server; your browser does not contact Google to show them.

Cookies

The only cookies are Google Analytics cookies (described above) and, for signed-in staff, one security cookie for our staff area.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics does not load for you.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (such as website hosting and Google Analytics), when a vehicle sale requires it (for example lenders you choose to apply to, or the Texas DMV for title and registration), or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you. Sale records are kept for as long as the law requires dealers to keep them.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email greenlightautosales01@gmail.com or call (832) 212-7537. We will answer within 45 days. If we cannot do what you ask, we will say why, and you can ask us to look at it again.

Security

This website runs on HTTPS only. Staff passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and personal records are not kept on the public website.

Children

This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its effective date.
